Get involved: Help us reach students across North America, volunteer as a mentor or judge, or become a STEM champion! Registration for the Arcadis Virtual Summer Science Fair will be open June 30 to July 12, 2021

Registration for the Arcadis Virtual Summer Science Fair will be open June 30 to July 12, 2021. This opportunity welcomes youth from ages 5 to 18 in North America to engage in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). Science fair projects can be an experiment, an invention or a research presentation. All projects will be due on July 19, followed by a week-long virtual science fair using our CX 360 platform (July 26 to 30) and an awards ceremony (July 30) to announce the winners of each age category.

Getting involved is as easy as 1-2-3:

  1. Share the attached announcement with your clients, family, friends, and local organizations. Do you know a kid who digs science? Are you eager to get your child involved in STEM activities this summer? Would your client be interested? Are you connected to local youth organizations? Share the attached informational poster with your clients, family and friends who may be interested. Pass along to your local YMCA, Boys and Girls Club and community centers. And don’t forget: Set a reminder on your calendar to register on Wednesday, June 30!
  2. Volunteer as a mentor or judge. Mentors will work directly with our youth scientists as they prepare to showcase their project for the science fair. Judges will be assigned to a grade level and provided with a rubric in which they can make their selections. No experience necessary! Please reach out to STEMLearning@arcadis.com to sign up.
  3. Become a STEM champion. Are you passionate about STEM education? This year we are introducing STEM champion positions as a part of the STEM Learning Program. STEM champions will help identify youth organizations across North America and distribute announcements from the STEM Learning Program to their internal and external networks to encourage participation in the science fair. Please reach out to STEMLearning@arcadis.com to help spread the word.
